People: New appointments at Kiotechagil

Kiotechagil supplier of high performance natural feed additives for the aquaculture and agriculture markets, has recently made two appointments to strengthen its International team.

Kiotechagil is a well-established, reputable UK company that offers a range of performance enhancing products that cover all aspects of biosecurity to the global agricultural livestock market.

Dr Luciano Sá has joined Kiotechagil in the role of sales and technical consultant. Dr Sá was educated in Brazil and has PhD in Animal Science from the University of Viçosa. He has a strong technical background in both monogastric and ruminant nutrition and previously worked with Ajinomoto where he was technical manager for their Brazilian operation. 

Prior to that Luciano was nutrition and formulation manager for Poli-Nutri Alimentos, a major feed/ premix producer in Brazil.

Brazil is strategically a very important market for Kiotechagil and Dr  Sá’s focus will be on providing technical and commercial support on the ground. Dr Sá is the lead author of more than ten published papers and has had many articles published in scientific magazines. He has also been a regular speaker at industry conferences.

Rene Noteborn has joined Kiotechagil as regional sales manager Europe. Noteborn is based in the Netherlands and will report to Mike Corbett, managing director of the International Division

He studied Animal Sciences at Wageningen Agricultural University before embarking on his career. Most recently Noteborn worked for De Heus International where he has held several positions around the world in account and product management which have given him broad experience and knowledge in feed production.

Noteborn commented, “I am really looking forward to working for and contributing to the growth of Kiotechagil. I see a particular opportunity to focus on the biosecurity aspects of meeting farmers’ needs.”
