Canadian Bio-Systems has announced the addition of a new manager of sales and marketing to its growing team.
Feed industry veteran Mark Peters has accumulated extensive experience over three decades working directly with industry and the farm gate across livestock production sectors. Based out of Manitoba, Canada, Peters will focus initially on the Canadian and U.S. markets.
“Mark is well established in the industry and brings invaluable knowledge and experience to our sales and marketing team,” says Owen Jones, president of CBS Inc. “He shares our philosophy of putting the customer first and building our business through outstanding service. Canadian Bio-Systems customers can look forward to working with Mark to identify solutions that help livestock operations run profitably.”
Peters has been involved in the feed industry in increasingly senior sales and marketing roles since 1984. He has built a trusted reputation among an expansive network and developed a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities for improving production results. He also closely monitors the emerging science, trends and expectations that are shaping the future.
“For me the focus is always the end customer and delivering value to them,” says Peters. “That’s something that doesn’t change. I believe in the approach of CBS Inc., its lineup of high-quality products and its commitment to science and innovation. Those are the ingredients required today to deliver real value. I’m pleased to be part of the team and I look forward to working with the broad range of Canadian Bio-Systems customers in this new position.”
