Phytase & forage pre-treatment lead the way for AB Vista

AB Vista supplier of micro-ingredients for the animal industry will promote the next generation E.coli phytase Quantum Blue during SPACE 2014, to be held in Rennes, France, from 16 19 September.

Developed specifically to maximise phytate destruction, Quantum Blue is a powerful and effective phytase on the market, and is currently delivering significant improvements in formulation costs, feed efficiency and return on investment for AB Vista customers throughout Europe.

"SPACE 2014 is a great opportunity for both existing and potential customers to discuss the advantages of this latest generation phytase, and in particular how superdosing with Quantum Blue to eliminate the anti-nutritional effects of phytate can produce substantial performance gains in both poultry and pigs," states Dr Maria Soto Salanova, AB Vista's Business Manager for France.

The company will also be presenting its new forage pre-treatment for ruminants, VistaPre-T. Simply mixed into the ration before feeding.

"The result is an increase in fibre degradation and potential improvements in forage D‑value of between 3-13 percentage points," adds Dr Xavière Rousseau, AB Vista's Technical Manager for France. "VistaPre-T has greatest impact on higher fibre forages, so as well as improving feed value, it also effectively levels out some of the variation in forge quality found within a typical silage clamp."
