“Animal nutrition can be far more efficient”
On 14 October, Wouter Hendriks gave his inaugural address as the new professor of the animal nutrition char group of Wageningen university and research centre, the Netherlands. The direction he wants to take is clear: more fundamental research and more research in petfood and nutrigenomics. “It is all about increasing efficiency,” according to Hendriks.
