CPF expands in China and Malaysia

Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc (CPF) said Wednesday its Board of Directors has approved the plan to expand its aquaculture operations in China and Malaysia.

The company will establish a unit with Bt45.2 million (US$1.3 million)initial registered capital for shrimp nursery farming in China, CPF said.
The company will also expand its fish feed operation in Malaysia, where it will acquire a feedmill for Bt13.1 million (US$0.4 million).
