Russia to join Grains Trade Convention
Russia will join the 1995 Grains Trade Convention. Prime Minister Mikhail
Fradkov signed a corresponding resolution on June 28.
The convention brings together major grain exporting and importing countries.
Its purpose is to promote international cooperation in all spheres of grain
trade, especially in food grain trade. Russia is one of the top ten grain
exporters worldwide.
