Lower inclusion rate probiotic Calsporin®

The EU has approved a lower inclusion rate for the probiotic Calsporin®. The product was already registered for 100ppm and can now also be used at 50ppm. It has been shown that the lower inclusion rate is as effective as when 100ppm is used.

Calsporin® is a highly concentrated probiotic that contains viable spores of Bacillus subtilis C-3102 and produced by Orrfa. This probiotic is heat stable and approved for use in broiler chicken. Registration trials for other species are currently running.

Calsporin® is now available in EU, the USA, Brazil and many countries from Asia (including China, Thailand and Japan etc).
