Finland to produce 4 million t of grain
If the weather conditions are favourable, Finland aims to produce four
million tonnes of grain this year.
Cold and dry weather hampered the early growing season, according to
Agriculture Ministry.
Yields per hectare would fall well below last
year's level, but some of the shortfall would be compensated by more land used
for grain crops. The Finnish grain harvest was 4.1 million tonnes last
year.
