Fieldale Farms

Fieldale Farms in Baldwin, Georgia, USA is a family-owned fully integrated farm, which means all parts of the chain in poultry production are in their own hands. This is from hatching egg production up until cut-up ready to cook poultry meat in the supermarket. Feed manufacturing is also incorporated in the integrated formula. All About Feed editor Dick Ziggers went to Baldwin and visited their feed mill.

Fieldale operates two mills in Baldwin. This is the latest one, established in 1999.

Fieldale’s 26 trucks deliver 750 loads per week to the farms. Every truck can hold 24 tons. Some 48 truckers keep the vehicles on the road in two shifts
