People: EnviroLogix Inc.CEO Bruce S. Ferguson to retire
EnviroLogix President and CEO, Bruce S. Ferguson, has announced his decision to retire in pursuit of “the next chapter of my life.”
In August 2010, EnviroLogix was purchased by Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. At that time, Bruce agreed to continue as President and CEO, to guarantee the business he had built would continue to grow and develop.
To ensure a smooth transition at this time, Bruce has agreed to remain until mid-August, allowing EBI to install new leadership without disruption to the business.
The search for his successor will begin immediately, looking at both internal and external candidates.
As an engaged industry leader and successful entrepreneur, Bruce leaves his valued customers and employees with a 42-year legacy of successes and platforms ripe with innovative technologies; new, state-of-the-art facilities; and outstanding future opportunities and developments.
EnviroLogix, based in Portland, Maine, has been developing and distributing high quality diagnostic tools to worldwide agricultural science, grain commodity and environmental industries since 1996.
