A new President for Victam International

André Oosterveld (61) after qualifying for technical engineer he joined an
engineering company where he specialised in liaison with sub-contractors, and it
was here that he came into contact with the German drilling equipment company –
TVT, who, amongst others, specialised in die drilling for the animal feed
industry.

Oosterveld realised the importance and great potential of this
specialist process and he formed his own company – Persmatrijs Epe BV in 1978
and purchased a drilling machine. One year later he successfully developed and
marketed the first eight spindle drilling machine.

The company went on to
successfully supply many of the international companies who manufacture and
supply dies for the feed industry worldwide.

In 1999 Oosterveld sold the
company to its Board of Directors, but he did not retire, He still remained
involved with the industry in the Netherlands and he also joined Victam as a
member of the Board in 2001.
