Fami-QS ensures the up to date feed industry auditing in China
During the 5th training session in China on Fami-QS code’s specific requirements for auditors, special emphasis was given to the auditing process like “assured sources, purchase of raw material, auditing techniques for HACCP, cross-contamination and response to a crisis”.
Fami-QS gives periodical technical training to its approved partners and certification bodies worldwide with the aim to guarantee an optimum level of knowledge and skills of its auditors and to maintain the quality and excellence of the system.
In the last few years, the interest about Fami-QS certification has considerably increased in non-EU countries.
The feed additives and premix industry in China has especially welcomed the Fami-QS system, considered as a very useful tool to comply with European Regulations when putting Chinese products on the EU market but also to facilitate the world trade of specialty feed ingredients and their mixtures.
Due to the big impact that the system is having in China, and after the success of the four previous training sessions, the fifth one was organised for 43 Fami-QS auditors from certification bodies such as Bureau Veritas Certification, DNV Certification B.V., HSL Certification Service, Lloyd’s Register Netherlands B.V. and SGS.
