Dutch study on carbon footprint animal feed sector

In order to facilitate knowledge development the PDV, in cooperation with Blonk Milieu Advies and LEI/WUR, has drawn up a project plan aimed to produce an interactive calculation model. This model should help in gathering knowledge and facts about the available methods of determining the carbon emissions in the chains and the carbon footprint in the entire animal feed chain.

The project plan contains clear provisions for harmonisation with other sectors that precede and follow the animal feed chain, in the last six months of this year.
