20-05-2008 | |

Inzo, the animal nutrition branch of the InVivo* Group, is pursuing its approach to internationalization by acquiring 50% of the capital of Vitagri, the Brazilian services firm.

Established in the State of Parana, Vitagri, services company in animal
nutrition, realizes a turnover of 34 million reais (€13.2 million) and has 100
employees. Vitagri markets pre-mixtures of vitamins, trace elements and
additives and special feeds. They develop their services with producers of
livestock feed as well as producers of feed on the farm.

Well-known
player on the South American market, Vitagri is particularly active in the
principal States of porcine and poultry production (Parana, Mato Grosso, Minas
Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina….). Vitagri is, in addition,
particularly complementary to the activities carried out in animal feed in
Brazil by Evialis, subsidiary of InVivo, through the Socil and Zoofort
companies

This new establishment is aimed at increasing the domains of
Inzo and Vitagri through a sharing of experience and to ensure a larger
financing base for activities of research and development of the InVivo Group in
animal nutrition.

* InVivo: Union of agricultural cooperatives is active
in the selection and marketing of seeds, agricultural supply, animal nutrition
and health, the storing and international trade of grains, as well as
specialized and mass distribution. 2006/2007 turnover: €3.63
