KSU feed mill receives $2 million donation
Ronald Kruse is donating $2 million for the
construction of a feed mill with a biofuels co-product research facility at the
new KSU Department of Grain Science and Industry campus in Manhattan, Kansas,
USA.
Kruse, a 1962 KSU Feed Science graduate, owns and operates O.H.
Kruse Grain & Milling.
Construction of the new facility follows
the new KSU research flour mill, commissioned last year, an extrusion and
"value-added" processing facility, and the International Grains Program
Conference Center.
The new campus eventually will include a classroom and
administration building. The project will be named after O.H. Kruse, father of
Ronald Kruse.
