EuroTier 2008: more space and exhibitors

The International DLG Exhibition for Animal Husbandry and Management, EuroTier 2008, to be held in Hanover from 11-14 November 2008, reports record exhibitor participation from Germany and other countries.

According to the information supplied by the organiser DLG (Deutsche
Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society), the best stand
booking figures since the exhibition premiered in the year 1993 have already
been achieved – a good nine months before the start of the exhibition.

10% higher
The number of exhibitors and the floor
space booked are already some 10% higher than the final results attained by the
exhibition in recent years. EuroTier Project Manager Dr Karl Schlösser reports
that at the present time everything indicates that with more than 1,800
companies and organisations from all over the globe, the world’s leading
suppliers of equipment and machinery, farm inputs and animal breeding will be
presenting innovative solutions and comprehensive information on innovations and
trends at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover. A complete programme will be
presented in both the pig and cattle sectors, as well as in the poultry sector
with the “World Poultry Show”.

Bio Energy
“BioEnergy
Europe”, the international exhibition for bioenergy and local energy supply,
will take place parallel to EuroTier at Hanover on 11- 14 November 2008. Large
numbers of well-known enterprises from Germany and other countries have booked
stands and will be presenting a comprehensive programme covering the complete
bandwidth of technological developments in the field of bioenergy (biogas, solid
biofuels such as wood, energy cereals and liquid biofuels) as well as renewable
energy systems.

This year, for the first time at an exhibition,
producers and users of bioenergy and local energy supply will be brought
together. As a common platform for the energy and agricultural branch,
“BioEnergy Europe” aims to create transparency through a broad programme of
technical solutions and services. It covers the entire value chain, from biomass
production right through to the wall socket, radiator or fuel tank, and thus
closes a gap that has existed to date, pointing up necessary interfaces.

Reed Business will officially
publish the EuroTier Innovations Magazine
2008. It will be the only commercial publication containing the floor plan,
exhibitor list, conference information, travel & stay information.

Further information on EuroTier 2008 is available from the official EuroTier
website.
