AFIA Pet Food Conference held Jan. 26-27, 2010

The American Feed Industry Association will hold the third annual Pet Food Conference, Jan. 26-27, 2010, at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta, Ga. The conference will take place prior to the opening of the International Feed Expo and the International Poultry Expo in the same location, Jan. 27-29, 2010.

The Pet Food Conference will cover a wide range of current industry issues, including a global look at pet food markets, salmonella control, state and federal inspections, and ingredient approval.  Scheduled speakers will include Food and Drug Administration officials, representatives of the Association of American Feed Control Officials, university experts and more.

In addition to the educational benefits, the conference is a great opportunity for networking with a large and diverse group of pet food manufacturers and ingredient suppliers.

Conference attendees are eligible to take advantage of the discounted room rates available for the International Feed and Poultry expos at a wide selection of downtown and satellite hotels with easy access to the show.  Reservations can be made through Wyndham Jade by phone at (800) 480-4364 or to click here.

Registration for the Pet Food Conference is $35 for pre-registration or $60 at the door.  More information and a registration link can be found at this page.
