Alltech supports young scientists

Animal nutrition company Alltech has announced its continued endorsement of young scientists from developing countries by supporting the prestigious Prof. Tielen Fund Foundation.

The purpose of the foundation is to promote the scientific, professional
and moral education of graduated veterinarians and other scientists in the field
of veterinary medicine from developing countries.
The Alltech grant recipients of the Prof. Tielen Fund Foundation will have
the opportunity to attend the bi-annual congresses of the International Society
on Animal Hygiene. The young scientists will have the opportunity to prepare a
paper for oral or poster presentation at the congress.
Prof. Tielen: “In my 35 years’ commitment to science it is clear that
science is at the heart of everything we do… Under this fund Alltech will
contribute to the development of young scientists in emerging countries. This
endorsement will facilitate the opportunity for these scientists to earn
knowledge and build networks that can contribute to the development of healthy
and profitable animal production in these countries.”
