IFF Course: “New developments in feed-compounding technology”

The feed industry has to meet manifold requirements in its function as reliable partner in the chain for the production of foods of animal origin.

 

In view of the dynamic developments of the market, there are considerable efforts necessary for safeguarding the competitiveness which can be shaped more successful, the better the operator and manager of a feed plant can fall back on know-how.

 

For this reason, the Research Institute of Feed Technology of IFF will carry out an international course on “Fundamentals and new developments in feed-compounding technology” in English language from 7 to 11 June 2010 at Braunschweig-Thune, Germany.

 

On the basis of fundamentals and practical experiences, the aim of this course is the updating, extension and refreshment of required knowledge for an economic and safe compound-feed production.

 

Practical courses at the pilot plant station of the research institute will be included.

 

This course is intended both for junior staff and for practitioners as well as technical management staff from all sectors of the feed industry.

 

It is recommended to employees of the supplying industry as it imparts in a concentrated form the know-how on the feed production as well as for safeguarding product safety and quality which is indispensable for a successful cooperation.

 

The following topics will be covered:

Experiences and knowledge will be imparted in updated lectures, seminars and discussions. Enhanced practical courses on selected subjects shall illustrate the contents brought forward.

 

Each participant will receive a workbook containing all lectures and documents. The participation in the course is the precondition for receiving the workbook and participation will be attested.

 

The successful participation in a written examination on available and acquired know-how will be certified. The successful graduation can be used as proof of the technical know-how.

 

The lectures will be given in English language.

Close: Friday, 11 June 2010, around 14:00 p.m.

 

For the first participant of a company the admission fee is for members of IFF €995 and non-members €1,450.

 

For each further participant of the same company the admission fee is for members of IFF €750 and for additional non-members €990.

AFF allows a 10 % early bird rebate on the admission fee for registrations we receive before 31 March 2010.

 

The admission fee is tax-free according to § 4, No. 22 UStG (German value added tax act). The fee includes written documents, soft drinks and lunch.
