Drop in Vietnamese feed prices
The current high stocks of raw materials for animal feed which have been buoyed by larger than usual imports over the past few months will lead to 30% to 35% price decrease of Vietnamese feed. This is according to Le Ba Lich, chairman of the Viet Nam Association of Animal Feed.
At the moment, the average domestic animal feed price is around Dong8,000
($0.48) per kg, down from June’s peaks of Dong10,000 per kg, registering a 20%
decline in prices already.
