BASF increases European prices for methylamines
With immediate effect or as existing contracts permit, BASF is increasing its European sales prices for methylamines.
The price increase are as follows:
– Monomethylamine (MMA) + €80/metric ton
– Dimethylamine (DMA) + €100/metric ton
– Trimethylamine (TMA) + €110/metric ton
Methylamines are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment and personal care.
They also prove valuable in the production of feed additives and organic solvents.
BASF produces methylamines at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
