With weather patterns becoming more and more unpredictable, a flawless crop and harvest are not always guaranteed. The risk of mycotoxin contamination is always there.

Mycotoxins can exert their effects on animals in many ways, including changing feeding behaviour, altering intestinal structure and function, affecting endocrine system signalling and modifying the immune system.

Mycotoxicosis can negatively impact all stages of animal production, which makes it even more important to keep on top of things. Good sampling and testing, as well as mycotoxin management, are essential in multiple links in the feed chain.
